How fantastic! I didn't even know such an organization existed. Really interesting. I was born and raised in Crescent City, CA. The northern most town in CA, before you enter OR. I've spent a great deal of time on beaches and found bits of sea glass too. I didn't know there were other people who picked up glass like that.

ReplyDeleteMy mother would love you. We go to the beach and she always collects sea glass, though most of it is in shards. Last time we went to the beach, we found a "hold fast" which was the first one I've ever seen. We also found a beached baby Leopard Shark, but it was too late for the little female.

Wow! I just came across your blog through Adele's blog! I love sea glass. I just spent last Saturday with my two girls at Frinton on sea and we found loads of seaglass which is now is our garden! I love the things you make, they look great. How long have you been collecting?

ReplyDeleteWhat an amazing find. Which beach in Rincon did you find it on? My family and I have gone to Rincon the past two years and were obsessed with finding sea glass while we were there. Most of our finds were on the Public Beach in Rincon.
